We recommend that you use Secure Shell (SSH) to connect to your Unix or Linux based Managed Server. SSH allows you to securely authenticate, Telnet and FTP.
Recommended SSH Clients:
Windows –
Users have several good choices when it comes to connecting using SSH:
- VanDyke Systems makes the best combination of products Secure CRT(secure Telnet), and Secure FX (secure FTP).
- Putty is a free Win32 Telnet/SSH client.
- FileZilla is a free SFTP client.
UNIX and LINUX –
Users should download the open source version of SSH at OpenSSH.
