  EasyDSL Setup Information

First, set up the Telephone Company Equipment

Then, set up a Single PC

Instructions for users of External DSL modems

  1. Install your 10BaseT Ethernet network card (NIC), follow the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Connect the DSL modem to the network card.
    A crossover cable is usually included in your telephone company's DSL modem kit. Recent Verizon modems use a regular Ethernet cable instead. See the Verizon link above for more information.
  3. Add and configure TCP/IP as your network protocol, and set your IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and DNS settings.
