Control Panel Sections

Your WebSiteOS control panel comes with the following sections that allow you to manage your web site. Features vary by package, so if your account does not come with a feature, you might want to speak to your account manager about upgrading. See details of all our Unix hosting packages.

Email

To see how many email accounts come with your hosting package, see our Unix hosting packages page.

If you have email addresses hosted with EasyStreet, manage any changes via our online mailbox changes form or via email to info@easystreet.com. Requested changes are generally completed the next business day. Value or higher hosting packages have the following additional utility available in their WebSiteOS control panel:

• Announcer: Use announcer to make text-only email announcements to customers who have opted-in to receive announcements from your company.

Accounts migrated from one of our non-profit servers, might have additional email features available.

E-commerce

This section will remain empty unless you have added the optional Miva Merchant package, which is available for Value and higher hosting packages.

Site Builders

These features are available to all accounts:

• Easy Blog Builder
• Plug-in Scripts: pre-written CGI scripts available for customers who want to use them.

Security

All accounts get the following features:

• Change Password

Value or higher packages come with these features:

• FTP Manager

  • Enable/use anonymous FTP
  • Create authenticated, directory-protected FTP Users

• Secure Shell: Details about secure shell: how to enable it, use it, and limitations.

Statistics

All domain packages except for pointer domains have this feature.

• Disk Usage
• Log Manager: disable, view, or download your raw web statistics log files.
• Web Stats: under Advanced, schedule log file rotation and reporting on a daily, weekly or montly basis; define your Webalizer report. enable Webalizer reporting.

Web Site Management

All domain packages except for pointer domains have this feature.

• File Manager: manage/view/edit files and folders; set permissions.

Value or higher hosting packages have the following additional features

• File Restore: Restore file from different time intervals for up to four days.
• Database Manager: Add your first two MySQL databases using this interface.

Pointer domain packages only

• Domain Pointing: Point a second domain at the same web space.

Logout

Be sure to logout when done using your WebSitOS. If you do not logout, but close the web browser window instead, you will experience strange problems if you later try and log back in for this or another domain. Always logout when finished using WebSiteOS.
