A default document tells the web server how to behave when it receives a request for your site that does not specify a particular page. For example, when a web server receives a request for http://yourdomain.com, how should it react? It first looks for Default.aspx. If it doesn't find that, it looks for Default.asp, and so on until it finds a match.
When we first setup your account, we included a default.htm file. You will need to rename/remove this file for your site to work properly with default documents further down the list.
ASP and ASP.NET Information:
- We fully support ASP, ASP.NET and ADO.NET on our Shared Windows server.
- By default, new IIS domains will be enabled for ASP.net 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5. If you would like to change your .NET version, please send an email to support@easystreet.com.
- AJAX 1.0 is available for .NET 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 only.

Perl Information:
- We are currently running ActiveState ActivePerl build 820.
- Perl users do not need to call the bash shell in their scripts.
- Perl tends to work best in our environment when used as a scripting language embedded within an Active Server Page. If used as a stand-alone script, the file must have an extension of .pl to function correctly.
