COMMUNICATING WITH THE ROUTER

There are 2 ways to connect to the Netopia router:

OBJECTIVE:
The screens below will show you how to configure the router using information EasyStreet has provided you.

NOTE:
This configuration assumes that you are getting more than one public IP from EasyStreet and that the router will NOT use NAT.  For instructions on how to configure the router if you are only getting one public IP from EasyStreet, check the index page.


CONFIGURING THE ROUTER

01.  From the MAIN MENU highlight "Easy Setup..." and hit the ENTER key.

02.  The following fields in the screen above are described below.

03.  Highlight "NEXT SCREEN" and hit the ENTER key.



04.  The following fields in the screen above are described below.

05.  Highlight "NEXT SCREEN" and hit the ENTER key.

06.  The following fields in the screen above are described below.

07.  Highlight "NEXT SCREEN" and hit the ENTER key.

08.  The following fields in the screen above are described below.

09.  Highlight "RESTART DEVICE" and hit the ENTER key.

WHEN THE ROUTER RESTARTS, AND THE READY LIGHT TURNS SOLID GREEN ON THE FRONT OF THE ROUTER, IT IS READY FOR USE.
