More Outlook 2007 Settings

It's a good idea to have your EasyStreet Account Information handy when you follow these instructions.

To Enable SSL on your inbound mail server (Once webmail has been enabled on your account):

1. In Outlook 2007 go to Tools --> Account Settings
   
   
   
   

2. On the Account Settings screen, on the E-mail tab, Highlight the account you want to edit and click Change
   
   
   Click Next





3. On the Change E-mail Account screen, click the More Settings... button
   
   
   Click Next





4. On the Internet E-mail Settings screen, You will be on the General Tab
   
   
   





5. Click the Advanced Tab
   
   
   





6. Click the box directly under the word incoming, and the port should change to 995
   
   
   
   Click OK




7. On the Change E-mail Account screen, click the Next button
   
   
   





8. Click Finish
   
   
   





9. And you are done enabling SSL.

To send E-mail from a non-EasyStreet internet connection:

1. In Outlook 2007 go to Tools --> Account Settings
   
   
   
   

2. On the Account Settings screen, on the E-mail tab, Highlight the account you want to edit and click Change
   
   
   Click Next





3. On the Change E-mail Account screen, change the outgoing mail server to smtpauth.easystreet.com
   
   
   Click Next





4. Now click the More Settings... button
   
   
   Click Next





5. On the Internet E-mail Settings screen, You will be on the General Tab
   
   
   





6. Click the Outgoing Server Tab
   
   
   





7. Click the button for My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
   
   
   
   Click OK




8. On the Change E-mail Account screen, click the Next button
   
   
   





9. Click Finish
   
   
   





10. And you should now be able to send email from a non-EasyStreet connection.
