Large Mailboxes

EasyStreet > Support > Email > Large Mailboxes

Email that is sent to you is stored on our mail server pop.easystreet.com until you use your email program to download them to your computer and remove them from our server

How big is my EasyStreet mailbox?

EasyStreet mailboxes have a hard limit of 100MB. If your mailbox fills up, incoming mail will bounce with a "cannot access mailbox" error. If you are getting close to the limit, we will send you a notice if your mailbox reaches 90MB.

Check your Mail Program's Settings

Many email programs are set to leave mail on our servers at EasyStreet by default. Make sure that you check that your email program is set to remove mail from our servers after you have downloaded a copy to your computer.

If you do need to leave messages on the server temporarily, please make sure you download them completely every once and a while, or set your program to remove messages after a specified number of days.

If you don’t see your email program listed, you can still find this setting with a little judicious searching.

  1. Start by looking at account settings.
  2. Usually the elusive check box is somewhere near the POP server settings, the delivery or read mail sections, or the advanced options.
  3. The actual option label may vary slightly, but the general intent of the label will be the same; Leave a copy of messages on the server, or Do not delete messages from the server.
  4. Make sure the Setting is Unchecked
  5. Save the changes
