Vista email workaround:
Please note, this procedure has been proven to enable communication between Microsoft Windows Vista and EasyStreet's email server. We have not had any feedback from users running this command noticing issues with any other applications. This is a workaround, and as such if you run any updates to your Windows Vista Operating System, you may have to follow these instructions again.
(The quotation marks are not needed for any of these commands)
Click on the Start -> Programs -> Accessories
(If you do not have an Accessories Entry under Programs, please follow the second set of instructions here)
Right click on "Command Prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
Confirm that you want to run Command prompt in enhanced mode by clicking "Continue" (Note: This prompt may not happen for all users or all versions of Microsoft Vista)
Type "netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled" and press Enter
Type "exit" and press Enter
What this does: This will disable the TCP Window Scaling (which is disabled in Windows XP, but
enabled in Vista) and allow communication with EasyStreet's email server.
