POP Setup

Configuring Thunderbird for POP3 service (recommended)

1. Click the Tools menu.
2. Choose Account Settings.
3. Click Add Account.
4. Select ‘Email account’ and click Next.
5. Type Your Name and the Email Address assigned to your account and click Next.
6. Select POP and type pop.easystreetemail.com in the Incoming Server field and click Next.
7. Type your User Name (username.enterprise or your email addres) and click Next.
8. Type your Account Name (your personal label for this account) and click Next.
9. At the Congratulations screen click Finish.
10. From the Account Settings screen click Outgoing Server (SMTP)
11. Click the Add button.
12. Type smtp.easystreetemail.com for the Description and Server Name fields.
13. Check  the box for ‘Use name and password’ under Security and Authentication.
14. Type your username or email address in the User Name field.
15. Select No for ‘Use secure connection’ and click OK.
16. Click the OK button to close out of the Account Settings.


Configuring Thunderbird w/SSL for POP3 service

1. Click the Tools menu.
2. Choose Account Settings.
3. Click Add Account.
4. Select ‘Email account’ and click Next.
5. Type Your Name and the Email Address assigned to your account and click Next.
6. Select POP and type pop.bluetie.com in the Incoming Server field and click Next.
7. Type your User Name (username.enterprise or your email addres) and click Next.
8. Type your Account Name (your personal label for this account) and click Next.
9. At the Congratulations screen click Finish.
10. From the Account Settings screen click ‘Server Settings’.
11. Select SSL under ‘Use secure connection’.
12. From the Account Settings screen click Outgoing Server (SMTP)
13. Click the Add button.
14. Type smtp.bluetie.com for the Description and Server Name fields.
15. Check  the box for ‘Use name and password’ under Security and Authentication.
16. Type your username or email address in the User Name field.
17. Select SSL for ‘Use secure connection’ and click OK.
18. Click the OK button to close out of the Account Settings.


IMAP Setup

Configuring Thunderbird for IMAP service

1. Click the Tools menu.
2. Choose Account Settings.
3. Click Add Account.
4. Select ‘Email account’ and click Next.
5. Type Your Name and the Email Address assigned to your account and click Next.
6. Select IMAP and type imap.easystreetemail.com in the Incoming Server field and click Next.
7. Type your User Name (username.enterprise or your email addres) and click Next.
8. Type your Account Name (your personal label for this account) and click Next.
9. At the Congratulations screen click Finish.
10. From the Account Settings screen click Outgoing Server (SMTP)
11. Click the Add button.
12. Type smtp.easystreetemail.com for the Description and Server Name fields.
13. Check  the box for ‘Use name and password’ under Security and Authentication.
14. Type your username or email address in the User Name field.

2. Choose Account Settings.
3. Click Add Account.
4. Select ‘Email account’ and click Next.
5. Type Your Name and the Email Address assigned to your account and click Next.
6. Select IMAP and type imap.bluetie.com in the Incoming Server field and click Next.
7. Type your User Name (username.enterprise or your email addres) and click Next.
8. Type your Account Name (your personal label for this account) and click Next.
9. At the Congratulations screen click Finish.
