POP Setup

Configuring POP3 Mac Mail

1. Click the Mail menu.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Click the Accounts icon.
4. Click the + sign in the bottom-left corner of window.
5. Select POP as the Account Type, and fill in a general description of the account (Work, Home, etc.).
6. Type your Email Address and your Full Name into the corresponding fields.
7. Type pop.easystreetemail.com in the Incoming Mail Server field.
8. Enter your full email address ( username@domain.com) in the User Name field, and your password in the Password field.
9. In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) drop-down menu, select Add Server.
10. In the new window, type smtp.easystreetemail.com in the Outgoing Mail Server field.
11. In the Authentication drop-down menu, select Password and retype your Username and Password into the corresponding fields, then click OK.


Configuring POP3 Mac Mail w/SSL

1. Click the Mail menu.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Click the Accounts icon.
4. Click the + sign in the bottom-left corner of window.
5. Select POP as the Account Type, and fill in a general description of the account (Work, Home, etc.).
6. Type your Email Address and your Full Name into the corresponding fields.
7. Type pop.bluetie.com in the Incoming Mail Server field.
8. Enter your full email address ( username@domain.com) in the User Name field, and your password in the Password field.
9. In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) drop-down menu, select Add Server.
10. In the new window, type smtp.bluetie.com in the Outgoing Mail Server field.
11. Select the Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
12. In the Authentication drop-down menu, select Password and retype your Username and Password into the corresponding fields, then click OK.


IMAP Setup

Configuring IMAP Mac Mail

Note: We do not allow the default IMAP account settings used by the Mac Mail program. Please follow our setup instructions very carefully to ensure that the client is configured properly with our servers. If configured incorrectly, IMAP will become disabled for your account.

1. Click the Mail menu.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Click the Accounts icon.
4. Click the + sign in the bottom-left corner of window.
5. Select IMAP as the Account Type, and fill in a general description of the account (Work, Home, etc.).
6. Type your Email Address and your Full Name into the corresponding fields.
7. Type imap.easystreetemail.com in the Incoming Mail Server field.
8. Enter your full email address ( username@domain.com) in the User Name field, and your password in the Password field.
9. In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) drop-down menu, select Add Server.
10. In the new window, type smtp.easystreetemail.com in the Outgoing Mail Server field.
11. In the Authentication drop-down menu, select Password and retype your Username and Password into the corresponding fields, then click OK.
12. Click the Advanced button.
13. Be sure that “Keep copies of messages for offline viewing” is set to “Don’t keep copies of any messages.” Having this set otherwise will result in IMAP being disabled for your account.

1. Click the Mail menu.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Click the Accounts icon.

5. Select IMAP as the Account Type, and fill in a general description of the account (Work, Home, etc.).
6. Type your Email Address and your Full Name into the corresponding fields.
